Abstract
【解決手段】軸受合金層(基材)1の表面に、バインダー樹脂と固体潤滑剤とから成る被覆層2を形成する。この被覆層2に、熱伝導性フィラーとしての鱗片状金属3を添加する。この鱗片状金属3同士は互いに接近し、或いは互いに接触することによって被覆層2表面の熱を基材1に伝える伝熱経路が作られ、被覆層2の熱伝導性は向上する。被覆層2の熱伝導率を0.4W/m・K以上にすることにより、相手軸の回転により被覆層2表面において発生した熱は、軸受合金層1側へ放熱されやすくなり、被覆層2の強度低下を抑制でき、なじみ性、非焼付性が向上する。

Description
特許文献2では、被覆層の易硫化軟質金属粒子は、潤滑油中の硫黄と反応して粒子表面に潤滑性に優れた硫化物を形成するので、摩擦係数が低下するという効果をもたらすとされている。
このような熱伝導性フィラーの添加により被覆層の熱伝導率は、0.4W/m・K以上に定められる。
本発明を適用した摺動部材の基本形態は、図4に示されている。図4の摺動部材6は、例えばエンジン用のすべり軸受として構成されており、鋼から成る裏金層7と、この裏金層7の表面に設けられた軸受合金層1と、この軸受合金層1の表面に設けられた被覆層2との三層構造となっている。軸受合金層1としては、Al系又はCu系の合金を使用することができるが、本実施例ではCu系合金を用いた。
Claims (7)
- 基材表面に、バインダー樹脂と固体潤滑剤とから成る被覆層を設けた摺動部材において、
前記被覆層に、鱗片状金属、チタン酸カリウムウィスカー、カーボンブラックのうちの1種以上を熱伝導性フィラーとして添加し、
前記被覆層の熱伝導率を0.4W/m・K以上としたことを特徴とする摺動部材。 - 前記被覆層には、前記鱗片状金属が前記熱伝導性フィラーとして添加され、その含有量は、5〜20体積%であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の摺動部材。
- 前記被覆層には、前記チタン酸カリウムウィスカーが前記熱伝導性フィラーとして添加され、その含有量は、1〜15体積%であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の摺動部材。
- 前記被覆層には、前記カーボンブラックが前記熱伝導性フィラーとして添加され、その含有量は、1〜10体積%であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の摺動部材。
- 前記被覆層に、前記鱗片状金属、前記チタン酸カリウムウィスカー、前記カーボンブラックのうちの2種以上を前記熱伝導性フィラーとして添加するとき、前記熱伝導性フィラーは、総量で25体積%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の摺動部材。
- 前記被覆層の硬度は、HV20〜40であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の摺動部材。
- 前記被覆層の厚さは、3μm未満であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の摺動部材。
