Description
Claims (42)
- 狭帯域で発光することができるエレクトロルミネセント素子を基板上に形成する工程と、
複数の色変換要素を前記エレクトロルミネセント素子に選択的に熱転写する工程と、
を含む、エレクトロルミネセントデバイスの製造方法。 - 前記複数の色変換要素を選択的に熱転写する工程が、
基層と、光−熱変換層と、転写層とを含むドナーシートを提供する工程と、
前記転写層が前記エレクトロルミネセント素子に近接しているように、前記ドナーシートを位置決めする工程と、
前記ドナーシートの一部を選択的に照射して、前記転写層の一部を前記ドナーシートから前記エレクトロルミネセント素子に熱転写する工程と、
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記転写層が、少なくとも1つの色変換材料を含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの色変換材料が燐光物質を含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- ブラックマトリクスを前記エレクトロルミネセント素子上に形成する工程をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ブラックマトリクスを形成する工程が、前記ブラックマトリクスを前記エレクトロルミネセント素子に選択的に熱転写する工程を含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記ブラックマトリクスが複数の開口を含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 複数の色変換要素を選択的に熱転写する工程が、前記複数の色変換要素の各色変換要素が前記ブラックマトリクスの前記複数の開口の1つの開口に転写されるように、複数の色変換要素を前記エレクトロルミネセント素子に選択的に熱転写する工程を含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記基板が複数の独立にアドレス可能な能動デバイスを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記エレクトロルミネセント素子が有機発光材料を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記有機発光材料が発光ポリマーを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記エレクトロルミネセント素子が青色光を放射することができる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1つのカラーフィルターを前記複数の色変換要素の少なくとも1つの色変換要素に選択的に熱転写する工程をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つのカラーフィルターが顔料または染料を含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の色変換要素の少なくとも1つの色変換要素が燐光物質を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の色変換要素の少なくとも1つの色変換要素が、前記エレクトロルミネセント素子から放射された光を赤色光に変換することができ、さらに、前記複数の色変換要素の少なくとも1つの色変換要素が、前記エレクトロルミネセント素子から放射された光を緑色光に変換することができる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 狭帯域で発光することができるエレクトロルミネセント素子を基板の第1の主面上に形成する工程と、
複数の色変換要素を前記基板の第2の主面に選択的に熱転写する工程と、
を含む、エレクトロルミネセントデバイスの製造方法。 - 複数の色変換要素を選択的に熱転写する工程が、
基層と、光−熱変換層と、転写層とを含むドナーシートを提供する工程と、
前記転写層が前記基板の前記第2の主面に近接しているように、前記ドナーシートを位置決めする工程と、
前記ドナーシートの一部を選択的に照射して、前記転写層の一部を前記ドナーシートから前記基板の前記第2の主面に熱転写する工程と、
を含む、請求項17に記載の方法。 - ブラックマトリクスを前記基板の前記第2の主面上に形成する工程をさらに含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記ブラックマトリクスが複数の開口を含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 複数の色変換要素を選択的に熱転写する工程が、前記複数の色変換要素の各色変換要素が前記ブラックマトリクスの前記複数の開口の1つの開口に転写されるように、複数の色変換要素を前記基板の前記第2の主面に選択的に熱転写する工程を含む、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記基板が、複数の独立にアドレス可能な能動デバイスを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記エレクトロルミネセント素子が有機発光材料を含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記有機発光材料が発光ポリマーを含む、請求項23に記載の方法。
- 前記エレクトロルミネセント素子が青色光を放射することができる、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1つのカラーフィルターを前記複数の色変換要素の少なくとも1つの色変換要素に選択的に熱転写する工程をさらに含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つのカラーフィルターが顔料または染料を含む、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の色変換要素の少なくとも1つの色変換要素が燐光物質を含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の色変換要素の少なくとも1つの色変換要素が、前記エレクトロルミネセント素子から放射された光を赤色光に変換することができ、さらに、前記複数の色変換要素の少なくとも1つの色変換要素が、前記エレクトロルミネセント素子から放射された光を緑色光に変換することができる、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 狭帯域で発光することができるエレクトロルミネセント素子を基板上に形成する工程と、
保護層を前記エレクトロルミネセント素子の少なくとも一部の上に形成する工程と、
複数の色変換要素を前記保護層に選択的に熱転写する工程と、
を含む、エレクトロルミネセントデバイスの製造方法。 - 前記保護層が誘電体材料を含む、請求項30に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つのエレクトロルミネセントデバイスを基板上に形成する工程を含み、前記少なくとも1つのエレクトロルミネセントデバイスを形成する工程が、
狭帯域で発光することができるエレクトロルミネセント素子を前記基板上に形成する工程と、
複数の色変換要素を前記エレクトロルミネセント素子に選択的に熱転写する工程と、
を含む、少なくとも1つのエレクトロルミネセントデバイスを含むエレクトロルミネセントカラーディスプレイの製造方法。 - 紫外線を放射することができるエレクトロルミネセント素子を基板上に形成する工程と、
複数の色変換要素を前記エレクトロルミネセント素子に選択的に熱転写する工程と、
を含む、エレクトロルミネセントデバイスの製造方法。 - 基板と、
前記基板上にあって、狭帯域で発光することができるエレクトロルミネセント素子と、
前記エレクトロルミネセント素子上の複数の色変換要素と、
前記複数の色変換要素の少なくとも1つの色変換要素上の少なくとも1つのカラーフィルターと、
を含むエレクトロルミネセントデバイス。 - 前記複数の色変換要素の少なくとも1つの色変換要素が燐光物質を含む、請求項34に記載のエレクトロルミネセントデバイス。
- 前記エレクトロルミネセント素子上にブラックマトリクスをさらに含む、請求項34に記載のエレクトロルミネセントデバイス。
- 前記ブラックマトリクスが複数の開口を含む、請求項36に記載のエレクトロルミネセントデバイス。
- 前記基板が、複数の独立にアドレス可能な能動デバイスを含む、請求項34に記載のエレクトロルミネセントデバイス。
- 前記エレクトロルミネセント素子が有機発光材料を含む、請求項34に記載のエレクトロルミネセントデバイス。
