前記嵌合空間の内周面にはこの嵌合空間への前記シール部材の挿入方向に沿って延びるガイド溝が設けられ、前記嵌合空間の奥壁部には前記シール部材の挿入方向に貫通する係止孔が設けられているとともに、
前記シール部材には前記嵌合空間において前記相手側ハウジングの嵌合領域に張り出すとともにこのシール部材を前記組付空間に押し込むための組み付け治具を押し当て可能な押圧面を備えた押圧部と、前記押圧部において前記押圧面の裏面側に前記組み付け治具の押し当て方向に沿って突設されるとともに前記係止孔に係合可能な係止突起とが設けられ、かつ、前記押圧部と前記係止突起との少なくとも一方の張り出し端部が前記ガイド溝に嵌まり合うようにされていることを特徴とする防水コネクタ。
