Abstract
【解決手段】 灯具前後方向に延びる光軸Ax上に灯具前方へ向けて配置された発光素子12からの光を、第1リフレクタ16で灯具後方へ向けて反射させ、これを第2リフレクタ18で灯具前方へ向けて反射させる構成とする。その際、第1リフレクタ16の反射面16aとして、発光素子12近傍の点を第1焦点F1とするとともに該反射面16a近傍の点を第2焦点F2とする楕円Eを、光軸Axまわりに回転させることにより形成される略ドーム状の回転体形状を有する構成とし、その第2焦点F2の円環軌跡を跨ぐ帯状領域を透光部14Acとして構成する。これにより、第1リフレクタ16からの反射光を、光軸Axを含む各断面内において、第2焦点F2に一旦収束させた後、発散光として第2リフレクタ18に入射させ、その反射光制御を容易化する。

灯具前後方向に延びる光軸上に灯具前方へ向けて配置された発光素子と、この発光素子からの光を灯具後方へ向けて反射させる第1リフレクタと、この第1リフレクタで反射した上記発光素子からの光を灯具前方へ向けて反射させる第2リフレクタと、を備えてなる車両用照明灯具において、
上記第1リフレクタの反射面が、上記発光素子近傍の点を第1焦点とするとともに該反射面近傍の点を第2焦点とする楕円を、上記光軸まわりに回転させることにより形成される略ドーム状の回転体形状を有しており、
上記第1リフレクタにおいて、上記第2焦点を上記光軸まわりに回転させたときの円環軌跡を跨ぐ帯状領域が、透光部として構成されている、ことを特徴とするものである。

Claims (4)
- 灯具前後方向に延びる光軸上に灯具前方へ向けて配置された発光素子と、この発光素子からの光を灯具後方へ向けて反射させる第1リフレクタと、この第1リフレクタで反射した上記発光素子からの光を灯具前方へ向けて反射させる第2リフレクタと、を備えてなる車両用照明灯具において、
上記第1リフレクタの反射面が、上記発光素子近傍の点を第1焦点とするとともに該反射面近傍の点を第2焦点とする楕円を、上記光軸まわりに回転させることにより形成される略ドーム状の回転体形状を有しており、
上記第1リフレクタにおいて、上記第2焦点を上記光軸まわりに回転させたときの円環軌跡を跨ぐ帯状領域が、透光部として構成されている、ことを特徴とする車両用照明灯具。 - 上記第1リフレクタが、該第1リフレクタの表面における所定領域が反射面として構成された透光ブロックからなり、該透光ブロックに入射した上記発光素子からの光を上記反射面で内面反射させるように構成されている、ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用照明灯具。
- 上記透光ブロックの表面において上記光軸を中心とする所定範囲の領域が、該透光ブロックに入射した上記発光素子からの光を該透光ブロックから灯具前方へ向けて直接出射させる直射光出射面として構成されている、ことを特徴とする請求項2記載の車両用照明灯具。
- 上記第2リフレクタが、上記第1リフレクタを構成する透光ブロックにより該第1リフレクタと一体で形成されており、
上記第2焦点の円環軌跡が、上記透光ブロック内に位置している、ことを特徴とする請求項2または3記載の車両用照明灯具。
