Abstract
Description
本発明の目的は、従来技術のデバイスの欠点を有さず、偽造が困難となる効果を示し、大規模でも経済的な製造が可能である、特に装飾、セキュリティ、認証、または識別用途向けの複屈折マーキングを提供することにある。
本発明は、反射基材の少なくとも1つの表面上に重合可能な液晶材料を印刷し、前記液晶材料を重合させることにより、重合液晶材料を含む複屈折マーキングを調製する方法に関する。
用語の定義
本出願に記載の液晶層およびフィルムに関して、本出願全体にわたって用いるものとして、以下の用語の定義が挙げられる。
・液晶材料が非キラル材料である、
・液晶材料がキラル化合物を含まない、
・液晶材料がラセミ体を含む、
・液晶材料がらせん状にねじれた構造を有さない、
・液晶材料が赤外線範囲内またはそれ未満の波長の選択的反射を示さない、
・重合可能な液晶材料がネマチックまたはスメクチック液晶材料である、
・反射基材が、金属が好ましくはアルミニウム、金、および銅から選択され、非常に好ましくはアルミニウムである少なくとも1つの金属または金属化層を含む、
・反射基材が金属フィルム、金属化紙もしくはポリマーフィルム、ホットスタンピングフォイル、またはホログラフィック像である、
・反射基材が好ましくは干渉もしくは真珠光沢顔料または液晶顔料から選択される反射顔料の少なくとも1つの層を含む、
・反射基材が特定範囲の電磁スペクトルの反射用の誘電性コーティングの少なくとも1つの層を含む、
・反射基材が特定範囲の電磁スペクトルの反射用のホログラフィック光学素子(HOE)である、
・反射基材が特定範囲の電磁スペクトルの反射用に最適化されたホログラムまたは虹ホログラムである、
・液晶材料が平面配向を誘起し、かつ/または高める少なくとも1種の化合物を含む、
・平面配向を誘起し、かつ/または高める化合物が界面活性剤、好ましくは非イオン性界面活性剤である、
・重合液晶材料が平面構造を有する、
・重合液晶材料がスプレイ構造を有する
方法または複屈折マーキングに関する。
式中、nは4〜12の整数であり、xは5〜15の整数である。
−5〜60%の1種または複数の二反応性アキラルメソゲン化合物、
−20〜90%の1種または複数の一反応性アキラルメソゲン化合物、
−0〜10%、好ましくは0.1〜5%の1種または複数の界面活性剤、
−0〜10%、好ましくは0.1〜5%の1種または複数の光開始剤
を含む。
以下の重合可能な混合物を調製する。
化合物(A) 12.12%
化合物(B) 29.66%
化合物(C) 22.90%
化合物(D) 28.37%
Irgacure 907 6.42%
Fluorad FC 171 0.53%
ニトロセルロースバインダー中のIriodin(登録商標)顔料Afflair 201およびAfflair 211(メルク社、ダルムシュタット、ドイツから市販)で事前に印刷した紙基材を用いた以外は、実施例1のように実施例1の溶液を印刷した。
Claims (14)
- 反射基材の少なくとも1つの表面上に重合可能な液晶材料を印刷し、前記液晶材料を重合させることにより、重合液晶材料を含む複屈折マーキングを調製する方法。
- 前記重合可能な液晶材料がネマチックまたはスメクチック液晶材料である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記基材が少なくとも1つの金属層または金属化層を含む、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記金属がアルミニウム、金、および銅から選択される、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記基材が少なくとも1つの反射顔料の層を含む、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記反射顔料が干渉または真珠光沢顔料、および液晶顔料から選択される、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記液晶材料が、平面配向を誘起し、かつ/または高める少なくとも1種の化合物を含む、請求項1から6の少なくとも一項に記載の方法。
- 平面配向を誘起し、かつ/または高める前記化合物が界面活性剤である、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記重合液晶層がスプレイ構造を有する、請求項1から8の少なくとも一項に記載の方法。
- 前記重合液晶層が前記基材に面するその表面で実質的に平面配向を示し、その反対表面で実質的にホメオトロピック配向を示す、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 請求項1から10の少なくとも一項に記載の方法により得られる複屈折マーキング。
- 請求項1から11の少なくとも一項に記載の方法または複屈折マーキングの、装飾、セキュリティ、認証、または識別用途での使用。
- 請求項10に記載の複屈折マーキングを少なくとも1つ含む、セキュリティ、認証、または識別マーキング、スレッドまたはデバイス。
- 請求項11に記載の少なくとも1つ複屈折マーキング、あるいは請求項13に記載の少なくとも1つのセキュリティ、認証、または識別マーキング、スレッドまたはデバイスを含む、有価証券、ホットスタンピングフォイル、反射フォイル、または光データ記憶デバイス。
