Abstract
Description
約10wt%〜約98wt%のPAO流体、
約1wt%〜約59wt%のアルキル化芳香族、および
約1wt%〜約75wt%の芳香族エステルを含む。
本発明にしたがって、84wt%のPAO(6cSt@100℃)、10wt%のアルキル芳香族(アルキル化ナフタレン)流体(5cSt@100℃)、および6wt%のエステル流体(ジイソオクチルフタレート)を含む基材油を用い、基材油を次の添加剤と混合することによって完全処方潤滑油組成物(処方A)を調製した。すなわち、
(1)ヒンダードフェノールおよびジフェニルアミンタイプの酸化防止剤(1:1)0.4wt%、
(2)ブチル化トリフェニルホスフェートタイプの耐摩耗剤1.5wt%、および
(3)無灰防錆剤0.1wt%
である。
組成物は、くもりおよび凝集のいかなる徴候もなしに、100℃で16週間維持された。くもりおよび凝集は、勿論、添加剤の不溶解性を表す。
本発明の基材油のデポジット抑制性を、商業的に入手可能な潤滑油組成物(比較例2)に対して、実施例1の処方A、および比較例2を、シンシナティ機械油サーマル試験Aに付すことによって比較した。比較例2の組成物は、PAO基流体、典型的な添加剤、および1.0wt%の分散剤を有した。主題の結果を図2に図示する。判るであろうように、主題の条件下で、処方Aは優れた低デポジット形成性を示した。さらに、試験温度を、275゜Fから168時間後の350゜Fに上昇することによって、試験が修正された際には、試料の目視結果から、処方Aは、はるかにより低いデポジット形成性を有したことが示された。
実施例1の処方A、および市販潤滑油組成物(比較例3)を、ASTM−D1401抗乳化性試験に付した。比較例3は、1.0wt%のポリアルキレン分散剤を含むPAO基潤滑油であった。試験結果を図3に示す。
この実施例は、本発明の二種の基材油(AおよびB)の酸化および加水分解安定性(ASTM D943 TOST寿命試験によって測定される)を、二種の他の基材油(CおよびD)と比較する。基材油Aは、80wt%のPAO(6cSt@100℃)、10wt%のアルキル化ナフタレン(5cSt@100℃)、および6wt%のエステル流体(ジイソオクチルフタレート)を含んだ。基材油Bは、エステルがジトリデシルフタレートおよびテレフタレートエステルの50:50混合物であった点で、処方Aと異なった。
Claims (10)
- 混合物の重量に基づいて、
10重量%以上のポリアルファオレフィン(PAO)流体、
1重量%以上のアルキル化芳香族流体、および
1重量%以上の芳香族エステル
を含むことを特徴とする潤滑基材油混合物。 - 10重量%〜98重量%のPAO流体、
1重量%〜59重量%のアルキル化芳香族流体、および
1重量%〜75重量%の芳香族エステル
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の潤滑基材油混合物。 - 前記PAO流体は、80〜85重量%含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の潤滑基材油混合物。
- 前記アルキル化芳香族流体は、10重量%含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の潤滑基材油混合物。
- 前記芳香族エステルは、5〜8重量%含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の潤滑基材油混合物。
- 前記アルキル化芳香族流体は、1〜8個の炭素原子からなる一種以上のアルキル基を有するアルキル化ナフタレンであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の潤滑基材油混合物。
- 前記芳香族エステルは、芳香族酸またはその酸無水物、および3〜18個の炭素原子からなる直鎖または分枝脂肪族アルコールの生成物であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の潤滑基材油混合物。
- 前記芳香族酸またはその酸無水物は、フタル酸またはその酸無水物であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の潤滑基材油混合物。
- 主要量の潤滑基材油混合物、ならびに
酸化防止剤、防錆剤、極圧剤および金属不活性化剤からなる群から選択された少なくとも一種の有効量の潤滑油添加剤
を含み、その際、該潤滑基材油混合物は、混合物の重量に基づいて、10重量%以上のポリアルファオレフィン(PAO)流体、1重量%以上のアルキル化芳香族流体および1重量%以上の芳香族エステルを含むことを特徴とする潤滑油組成物。 - 前記混合物は、
10重量%〜98重量%のPAO流体、
1重量%〜59重量%のアルキル化芳香族流体、および
1重量%〜75重量%の芳香族エステル
を含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の潤滑油組成物。
