【発明の実施の形態】
図1は本発明における第1の実施の形態を示すものである。図1において、赤外線または電波を受信する受信回路21とスピーカ26を駆動するためのスピーカ駆動回路22をコイン電池等の電池23上に構成し、この電池23と一体化されたこれら回路部分をイヤリング台25に固着する(図においては固着直前の状況で示す)。さらに外耳道に挿入可能なスピーカ26をフレキシブルな導線24でスピーカ駆動回路22の出力へ接続し、受信回路21の出力をスピーカ駆動回路22の入力に接続し、別途用意された信号送信部(図2における312)から送られて来る音声信号で変調された赤外線または電波を受信回路21で受信し、これをスピーカ26で再生する構成になっている。使用に際してはイヤリング台25を通常のイヤリングのように耳に装着しスピーカ26を外耳に挿入する。この外耳に挿入されたスピーカ26は周囲の環境音を遮断する作用もあり、これにより明瞭な受信音が得られる。しかも、この構造にすることにより従来のヘッドセットのように耳を覆うことがなく、装着者に疲労あるいは違和感を与えることなく装着出来る。さらにイヤリングは常時装着しているものの1つであり常時装着に対して外観上も違和感を与えるものではない。

上記の通信装置31は、例えば図2に示すようにネックレスまたはネックストラップに組み込むことにより外観上違和感なく装着することができ、かつイヤリング型の音声信号受信装置30とはコードレスとなっているため使用者にとっても違和感を与えるものではない。さらに、図2においては通信部311と信号送信部312とを分離し、これら両者間を有線で接続する構成で示しているが、これは通信部311を外部の交信装置32に対して最適の位置に配置し、同時に信号送信部312を音声信号受信装置30に対して良好な信号送受信が行える位置に配置することも可能にするためである。この通信装置31の装着手段としては、上記ネックレス等の利用以外に、衣服或いはベルトの一部にクリップ等で固定する方法も可能であり、いずれにしても音声信号受信装置30と交信可能な位置で違和感なく装着し得る場所ならば何れの位置でも良いことは勿論である。
