睡眠時眠時上向き横臥姿勢では鼾をかく者でも頭を横向きにした睡眠姿勢では鼾の抑制効果あることが確認され、従来、枕の形状等で上向き横臥姿勢をさせない様に様々な工夫をした上記発明の枕がある。
特許文献1はアーチ状の形状により特許文献2及び3は山部と谷部の組み合わせ形状により、特許文献4及び,6,7は中央を高くして両サイドに低くなる傾斜形状により,そして特許文献5は枕の一方を足で高くして枕そのものを一方に傾斜させ、それぞれ頭を上向きに保ち難い傾斜形状によって横向き姿勢にさせようとするものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、従来の発明は、以下のような欠点がある。
A 特許文献1、4、6、7は端に行くほど枕の高さが足らなくなり、頭が下がり枕の効果そのものが無くなるうえ、傾斜のために不安定で遂には枕から頭がずれ落ちてしまう。B 特許文献2,3は枕から頭は外れ難いが谷部に入ってしまった後寝返りによる上向き姿勢になろうとする動作をを抑制する効果が無くなる。
等上記いずれの発明も就寝間頭を横向きに保ち続けることが難しく所望の鼾抑制効果を維持発揮できないという欠点、問題点がある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、以上の欠点,問題点を改善するため、
(a) 上向きに湾曲させたマクラ(1)の底面に枕底板(2)を設ける、
(b) 枕底板の下側中央に脚(3)を設ける、
(c) 脚(3)を軸(4)を介して台(6)に設けた支柱(5)に接合する。
の如く構成する。

【実施例】
本発明のいびき抑制枕(1)は、
A 枕(1)は上向きに湾曲の形状で、かつ左右に倒れても枕の高さが変わらないように中央部分の厚さを薄く、両側を横向き時の高さに合わせた厚さとする。
B 枕の素材には、ウレタン等適当な柔らかさと、形状を保てる固さ備えた素材を用いる。
C 枕の底面板(2)は枕の湾曲形状を形成保持するために、脚(3)および軸(4)支柱(5)は枕と頭の重さを支えるために金属等必要な強度を備えた素材とする。
D 台(6)は非金属でも良いが布団を痛めないように加工するともに、台の底面は、ずれ防止のためゴム等の素材をを張りつける。

【発明の効果】
本発明は、枕のシーソー作用により、頭を上向きの状態を保つことが難しく、枕はすぐに軸を中心に左右どちらかに倒れ、頭は強制的に確実に横向きにされる。寝返りして上向きになろうとすれば、枕はその形状により頭をしっかりとらえたまま追従し、すぐ左右どちらかに倒れ再び横向きにされ、就寝間確実に鼾抑制姿勢を保ち続けることができる。
