【課題を解決するための手段】
2組の赤外線センサー(3)と、その投光器の光ビームが捕獲器中心でX状に水平に交叉するように配置しておき、餌などで誘引されたネズミが赤外線ビームを遮ると電子回路が作動して、ソレノイド(10)が吊り下げた捕獲ボックス(2)を落下させて、ネズミを覆ってしまうのである。
この状態で設置者は、捕獲物の処理のために底板トレイ(12)を挿入して捕獲ボックスに蓋をするのである。
