【発明の詳細な説明】

【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は請求項1の上位概念
に基づく電動駆動システムに関する。
【0002】
【従来の技術】車両の内燃機関と変速機の間の配列とし
て、種々の方式の電気機械が提案される。一例を挙げれ
ば、駆動機械と変速機の間に3つの機素、太陽歯車、リ
ングギヤ及びプラネットキャリアからなる遊星歯車装置
を有する車両用電動駆動システムがドイツ国特許第19
934696号明細書に記載されている。第1の機素と
してのプラネットキャリアは変速機と連結され、第2の
機素としてのリングギヤは駆動機械と連結され、第3の
機素としての太陽歯車は少なくとも1個の電動モータと
連結される。この配列によって駆動機械が始動され、電
気エネルギーが発生され、電気的に制動され、また車両
が停止状態から発進される。冷機始動条件での駆動機械
の始動のための特別の解決策は、ドイツ国特許第199
34696号明細書では明らかでない。
【0003】公知のクランク軸−スタータ−発電機では
内燃機関の冷機始動トルクに打ち勝たなければならず、
しかも装置が回転質量を必要な始動回転数に加速するこ
とができなければならない。このことはクランク軸−ス
タータ−発電機の電動モータが内燃機関の冷機始動トル
クより高いトルクを発生しなければならないことを意味
する。この解決策の基本的欠点は、高い内燃機関回転数
で2つの基本的要求、即ち冷機始動と発電運転が同じ電
動モータに求められることである。冷機始動で高い機械
トルクを得るには、所定の電動モータ出力で当該の回転
数を極めて低く選定しなければならない。従って電動モ
ータの発電運転で内燃機関の全回転数範囲をカバーする
には電動モータの大きな弱め界磁範囲が必要である。内
燃機関回転数が高ければ、この大きな弱め界磁範囲は発
電運転の不良な効率をもたらす。また必要な高いトルク
は高い電機電流を必要とし、それがそのために必要な電
力用電子装置の多額の費用となって現われる。
【0004】公知のインパルススタータでは電動モータ
の内燃機関側がシフトクラッチを介してクランク軸と連
結されている。変速機側では電動モータと変速機入力軸
の間にねじり振動止付きの在来の始動クラッチがある。
電動モータと電力用電子装置の上記の欠点を回避するた
めに、インパルススタータの場合は内燃機関の始動のた
めに2つのクラッチが切断される。電動モータは固有の
回転質量だけを加速し、慣性始動回転数に到達した後は
内燃機関側のシフトクラッチが締結される。こうして慣
性モーメントと電動モータトルクを内燃機関の冷機始動
のために利用することができる。内燃機関側のシフトク
ラッチは走行運転時に内燃機関のすべての静的及び動的
トルクを伝達しなければならないので、変速機側の始動
クラッチと同様に又は場合によってはそれより強力に設
計しなければならない。その結果大きな重量と高いコス
トが生じる。また慣性始動時の断続クラッチの摩擦エネ
ルギーを中間貯蔵する補助蓄積質量が装置の重量を増大
する。電動モータは内燃機関や変速機に関係なく慣性始
動回転数にしなければならないので、独自の軸受装置を
持たねばならない。補助クラッチ及びその操作装置によ
り大きな全長が必要になる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明の根底にあるの
は、上述の欠点を回避する冷機始動条件のための始動装
置を提示する課題である。

【課題を解決するための手段】この課題は請求項2の特
徴を有する電動駆動システム及び請求項1に記載の方法
によって解決される。実施形態が従属請求項の主題であ
る。
【0007】本発明によれば内燃機関と変速機の入力軸
との間の電動モータ及び遊星歯車装置からなる車両の電
動駆動システムに、変速機の入力軸を固定ハウジング部
材に対して制御に基づき制動するための摩擦ブレーキが
設けられている。この駆動システムの使用方法において
は変速機をニュートラルにシフトした状態で、まず電動
モータを内燃機関の始動のために基本的に十分な回転数
に加速する。ブレーキによって制御に基づく締結が行な
われ、それによって変速機の入力軸が固定ハウジング部
材に対して制動される。電動モータトルクと回転部材の
質量の回転モーメントの和として、低温及びそれに伴う
困難な始動条件でも内燃機関を確実かつ迅速に始動する
トルクが内燃機関に作用する。好ましい実施形態ではブ
レーキは変速機の入力軸と固定回転結合された遊星歯車
装置のプラネットキャリアと連結されている。別の実施
形態ではブレーキは変速機の入力軸と固定回転結合され
た変速機の副軸と連結されている。

【発明の実施の形態】図1は内燃機関4と変速機6の間
に配設された電動駆動システム2の概略図を示す。遊星
歯車装置14のリングギヤ12は内燃機関4のクランク
軸8により制振器10を介して駆動される。プラネット
キャリア18に回転自在に配設された遊星歯車16がリ
ングギヤ12とかみ合う。プラネットキャリア18は摩
擦クラッチ20と連結され、摩擦クラッチ20によって
電動モータ24の回転子22をプラネットキャリア18
に遊転不能に結合することができる。また回転子22に
遊星歯車装置14の太陽歯車26が遊転不能に結合され
ている。プラネットキャリア18は変速機6の入力軸2
8に遊転不能に結合され、入力軸28の歯は変速機6の
副軸30の歯とかみ合う。副軸の別の歯が出力軸36の
歯とかみ合う。摩擦ブレーキ32により入力軸28を変
速機6のハウジング34に遊転不能に結合することがで
きる。
【0010】始動過程の初めに全ドライブトレインが静
止しており、変速機6はニュートラルにシフトされてい
る。ブレーキ32とクラッチ20は切断されている。電
動モータ24は慣性始動のために必要な回転数まで加速
する。それによって太陽歯車26が回転し、一方、リン
グギヤ12はまだ停止中の内燃機関4によって引き続き
固持される。同時にプラネットキャリア12及びこれと
結合された入力軸28が、遊星歯車装置14により低減
された回転数で回転する。ブレーキ32を制御に基づき
締結することにより、リングギヤ12と結合されたリン
グギヤ軸38にトルクと回転数が形成される。このトル
クは電動トルク分と回転質量の慣性モーメントからな
る。ブレーキ32の完全な締結の後に入力軸28が停止
する。この時点以降は遊星歯車装置14の変速比だけ増
大した電動トルクだけがリングギヤ軸38に、また制振
部材10を介してクランク軸8に作用する。

時間tの関係を曲線40に基づいて示す。曲線点42に
至るまで電動モータ24が加速される。曲線点42から
ブレーキ32が締結される。曲線点44からリングギヤ
軸38に、電動トルクと慣性モーメントからなるトルク
が形成された。このトルクはクランク軸8を回転させる
のに十分である。曲線点46でブレーキ32が完全に締
結され、入力軸28とプラネットキャリア18が停止す
るまで、クランク軸回転数n_VMが増加する。曲線点
46以後は補助慣性エネルギーが欠如するため、クラン
ク軸回転数n_VMが再び低下する。しかしここでリン
グギヤ軸38の電動トルクとすでに回転質量に蓄積され
た電気エネルギーは、内燃機関を必要な始動回転数に引
き上げ、この回転数を内燃機関4が着火するまで長い時
間にわたって保持するのに十分である。

【発明の効果】公知の始動方式と比較して内燃機関のフ
ライホイールを簡単に構成することができ、スタータ・
リングギヤを省略することができる。極端な冷機始動条
件での始動過程のために在来のフライホイール形スター
タを補設しないでよい。

Claims (4)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】内燃機関(4)と変速機(6)の入力軸
    (28)との間の電動モータ(24)及び遊星歯車装置
    (14)からなる電動駆動システム(2)を装備する車
    両の内燃機関(4)の始動方法において、まず電動モー
    タ(24)を内燃機関(4)の始動のために基本的に十
    分な回転数に加速し、次に変速機(6)の入力軸(2
    8)の回転を固定ハウジング部材(34)に対して制動
    するブレーキ(32)を制御に基づき締結し、それによ
    って電動モータトルクと回転部材の回転モーメントの和
    としてのトルクが内燃機関(4)に作用することを特徴
    とする方法。
  2. 【請求項2】内燃機関(4)と変速機(6)の入力軸
    (28)との間の電動モータ(24)及び遊星歯車装置
    (14)からなる電動駆動システム(2)において、変
    速機(6)の入力軸(28)を固定ハウジング部材(3
    4)に対して制御に基づき制動するためにブレーキ(3
    2)が設けられていることを特徴とする電動駆動システ
    ム。
  3. 【請求項3】ブレーキ(32)が変速機(6)の入力軸
    (28)と固定回転結合された遊星歯車装置(14)の
    プラネットキャリア(18)と連結されていることを特
    徴とする請求項2に記載の電動駆動システム(2)。
  4. 【請求項4】ブレーキ(32)が変速機(6)の入力軸
    (28)と固定回転結合された変速機(6)の副軸(3
    0)と連結されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載
    の電動駆動システム(2)。
