【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、生薬の組み合わせ
により作用の増強された、活性酸素消去剤に関するもの
である。

【従来の技術】人体の老化を促進し、アルツハイマー病
などの痴呆を引き起こす最大の原因となるのが活性酸素
だということは、最近の学問の進歩から漸次明らかにな
りつつある。では、その生体内の酸化老化を阻止する具
体的な方法はというと、人の体内には老化の原因となる
活性酸素を消去する物質も同時に存在する。しかし、そ
れは完全というわけではない。
【０００３】人の体内に発生する過剰な活性酸素を抗酸
化剤が一つも残さず消去できれば、老化は食い止められ
生活習慣病やガンも発症することはなくなるわけであ
る。そこで、体内の抗酸化剤に協力して助けるような別
の抗酸化剤を体外から補給することができれば、老化や
生活習慣病やガンも防げるというわけである。

【発明の解決しようとする課題】ところで、外から補給
する抗酸化剤は、完全に安全なものでなくてはならな
い。老化のスピードを緩めるために活性酸素を消去する
ということは、病気の治療のために活性酸素を消去する
こととはまったく意味が違うからである。前者の目的は
健康増進であり、後者はまさに西洋医学の方法論で、往
々にして生体への負担を伴うその毒性ゆえに様々な副作
用が生じる場合が少なくない。
【０００５】そこで発明者らは、副作用を生じることな
く、強力に活性酸素を消去して健康の維持増進に役立つ
ものを鋭意研究した結果、食品に使用できる自然の生薬
の組み合わせによりその目的が達成されることを見出
し、本発明を完成した。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は、３種類の生
薬、ウコン、田七人参、ショウガを組み合わせることに
よりなる。この３種類の生薬は、いずれも食品用のもの
を用いることが出来る。生薬そのものを用いることが望
ましいが、その抽出エキスを用いてもよい。ウコンは、
Ｃｕｒｃｕｍａ属のものを用いることが出来る。Ｃｕｒ
ｃｕｍａ属には、日本において春ウコン、秋ウコン等様
々なものがあるが、そのどれを用いても良い。秋ウコン
は、ふつう生根茎の外皮は薄い褐色。根茎を折って中を
見ると橙色をしている。味覚としては、秋ウコンには苦
みはない。一方の春ウコンは、新鮮な根茎は白っぽいか
黄色みを帯びている。中身は秋ウコンと違って真っ黄色
である。どれも苦みがあるのが特徴である。辛味より苦
味が強くモノテルペン含量が高い。
【０００８】ウコンには、クルクミン、フラボノイド、
アズレン、カンファー、シネオール、マグネシウム、カ
ルシウムなど数々の有効 成分が含まれている。ウコン
に含まれた主成分クルクミンは、肝臓の働きを強化し、
胆汁の分泌や利尿作用を促進する。フラボノイド類は抗
出血性ビタミンＰの作用をする。アズレンは、炎症や潰
瘍を直す作用、胃液のペプシンを抑える作用がある。精
油成分カンファーは、神経の興奮作用、強心作用を促進
する。シネオールは、健胃作用、殺菌、防腐作用に優れ
た効果がある。このほかにも、マグネシウム、カリウ
ム、タンニン、タンパク質、鉄、リンなどのミネラルが
含まれている。
【０００９】田七人参は、三七人参とも言われるが、い
ずれのものも用いることが出来る。高麗人参と同じ仲間
でウコギ科の植物であり、根が育つのに三〜七年かかる
ことから、三七の名が付けられたもので、生薬としては
根の部分を用いる。長さ三〜五センチほどの根を掘り起
こして、ひげ根や枝根を取り除き、日干しにして半乾き
にし、さらに黒褐色のつやが出るまで手でもみながら固
く乾燥させたものである。昔から薬用に珍重され、中国
においては田七のことを「金不換（きんふかん）」とも
呼び、不老不死の最高の秘薬として、お金に換えられな
いほど価値があるものと考えてきた。その主成分はサポ
ニンで、その量は朝鮮人参をはるかに超えているといわ
れる。サポニンの薬効は、免疫増強や強壮作用であり、
田七人参にだけに含まれているサポニンや田七ケトンと
いう成分も発見されている。これらのサポニンや田七ケ
トンが血液中の酵素の代謝を促進し、血液のめぐりをよ
くして、心臓や血管などの循環器系に良い影響を及ぼ
し、コレステロールや中性脂肪を低下させ、狭心症、心
筋梗塞、脳卒中などの治療に効果を発揮すると同時に予
防にもなる。さらに、鉄分、ビタミンＡ、カルシウムな
ども含まれている。
【００１０】ショウガには、乾姜、生姜等があるが、あ
らゆる漢方薬の煎じ薬に必ず含まれているの成分であ
り、いずれのものも用いることが出来る。その効果は、
胃腸を強くし、血のめぐりをよくする等である。慢性疾
患で全身の機能が低下している時やエネルギー代謝の低
下している時、寒い環境や冷たいものを飲んだことによ
る下痢や腹痛などの胃腸機能障害の時に使われる。
【００１１】この三種の生薬もしくは生薬エキスの配合
量は、ウコンは２０重量％乃至７０重量％、田七人参及
びショウガは１０重量％乃至５０重量％である。この組
み合わせにより、その抗酸化効果は、それぞれを単独で
服用するのと比較して相乗的に増加する。それぞれの成
分をこれ以上増加しても減少しても、組み合わせのバラ
ンスを崩すのみであり、相乗的な抗酸化効果もかえって
減少してしまう。
【００１２】以上の生薬あるいは生薬の抽出エキスを粉
末にして混合して製する。必要により、通常の健康食品
の錠剤、散剤、丸剤、カプセル剤、顆粒剤という形態に
して服用しても良いし、またはペースト状にしてあるい
は薬膳料理として調理して食べさせるという方法をとっ
ても良い。本発明の使用量は、一日０．５乃至８ｇ、よ
り好ましくは３乃至６ｇを目安に服用する。症状により
適宜増減することは可能である。

【実施の形態もしくは実施例】
〔処方１〕
田七人参 Ｓａｎ−ｃｈｉ Ｇｉｎｓｅｎｇ ２５重量％
ウコン Ｃｕｒｃｕｍａ ｌｏｎｇａ Ｌ． ３０重量％
Ｃｕｒｃｕｍａ ａｒｏｍａｔｉｃａ ２５重量％
乾姜 Ｚｉｎｇｉｂｅｒ ｏｆｆｉｃｉｎａｌｅ Ｒ． ２０重量％
上記の処方で粉砕して細紛にし定法に従い打錠して１錠
２００ｍｇの錠剤を作った。１日２０錠を目安に服用し
た結果以下のような効果がでた。
