Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector and a driving control method thereof capable of collecting a dust in an exhaust gas without releasing all at once the dust in the exhaust gas to an atmosphere and simultaneously and always cleaning a bag filter. SOLUTION: The dust collector is provided with an exhaust gas inlet; an exhaust gas outlet; an endless belt-like bag filter deposited with a dust; an exhaust gas chamber provided with an exhaust gas inlet and an exhaust gas outlet; a cleaning chamber shielded against the exhaust gas chamber; a nozzle disposed in the cleaning chamber; and a differential pressure gauge for detecting a pressure difference of the exhaust gas inlet and the exhaust gas outlet. A pressure difference of the exhaust gas inlet and the exhaust gas outlet is detected and the bag filter deposited with the dust is intermittently moved from the exhaust gas chamber to the cleaning chamber and is exchanged corresponding to a detection signal. A high pressure air is injected from a plurality of nozzles to remove the dust deposited on the bag filter.
