Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.第1ステーションと第2ステーションとの間で方向性無線通信を行う方法に おいて、 上記第1ステーションにおいて上記第2ステーションからの複数の連続信号 を受信し、これら信号の各々は、複数の異なる方向の少なくとも1つから受信 することができ; 第1ステーションにより第2ステーションから受信した複数の逐次信号の各 々に対して少なくとも1つのパラメータの値を決定し;そして 上記第1ステーションから第2ステーションへ送信されるべき信号に対して 少なくとも1つのパラメータの値を選択するという段階を含み、上記第1ステ ーションにより送信されるべき信号の少なくとも1つのパラメータの上記値は 、上記複数の逐次信号の上記少なくとも1つのパラメータの上記決定された値 に基づいて選択されることを特徴とする方法。 2.上記決定段階は、複数の逐次信号の各々に対し、上記逐次信号が受信される 各方向を決定することを含み、そして上記選択段階は、第1ステーションから 第2ステーションへ信号を送信するための少なくとも1つの方向を選択するこ とを含み、この少なくとも1つの方向は、上記複数の逐次信号に対して決定さ れた方向に基づいて選択される請求項1に記載の方法。 3.上記決定段階は、上記複数の逐次信号の各々の強度を決定することを含み、 そして上記選択段階は、上記第2ステーションへ送信されるべき信号の強度を 選択することを含み、この信号の強度は、上記複数の逐次信号に対して決定さ れた強度に基づいて選択される請求項1又は2に記載の方法。 4.上記選択段階は、上記複数の逐次信号に重み付けパターンを適用することを 含む請求項1、2又は3に記載の方法。 5.上記重み付けパターンは、均一の重み付けパターンであり、逐次信号の各々 に等しい重みが与えられる請求項4に記載の方法。 6.上記重み付けパターンは、上記複数の逐次信号のより最近受信した信号に、 それより前に受信した信号より大きな重みが与えられるものである請求項4又 は5に記載の方法。 7.上記重み付けパターンは、指数関数的又は直線的に増加する重み付けパター ンである請求項6に記載の方法。 8.上記選択段階は、無線環境に基づいて複数の重み付けパターンの1つを選択 する請求項4ないし7のいずれかに記載の方法。 9.無線環境を決定する段階を更に含む請求項8に記載の方法。 10.第1ステーションにおいて放射ビームを送信するための複数のビーム方向を 定める段階を備え、上記ビーム方向の各々は個々に選択できる請求項1ないし 9のいずれかに記載の方法。 11.上記第1ステーションは、セルラーネットワークのベーストランシーバステ ーションである請求項1ないし10のいずれかに記載の方法。 12.上記第2ステーションは、移動ステーションである請求項1ないし11のい ずれかに記載の方法。 13.第2ステーションと方向性無線通信する第1ステーションにおいて、 上記第2ステーションから複数の連続信号を受信するための受信手段を備え 、上記信号の各々は、複数の異なる方向の少なくとも1つから受け取ることが でき、 更に、上記第2ステーションから第1ステーションにより受信された複数の 逐次信号の各々に対する少なくとも1つのパラメータの値を決定するための決 定手段と、 上記第1ステーションから第2ステーションへ信号を送信するための送信手 段と、 この送信手段を制御するための制御手段とを備え、この制御手段は、上記送 信手段により送信されるべき信号に対する少なくとも1つのパラメータの値を 選択するように構成され、上記少なくとも1つのパラメータの値は、上記複数 の逐次信号に対して決定された上記少なくとも1つのパラメータの値に基づい て選択されることを特徴とする第1ステーション。 14.上記決定手段は、複数の逐次信号の各々に対し各々の方向を決定するように 構成され、そして上記制御手段は、送信手段による信号の送信に対して少なく とも1つの方向を選択するように構成され、この少なくとも1つの方向は、上 記複数の逐次信号に対して決定された方向に基づいて選択される請求項13に 記載の第1ステーション。 15.上記決定手段は、上記複数の逐次信号の各々の強度を決定するように構成さ れ、そして制御手段は、送信手段によって送信されるべき信号の強度を選択す るように構成され、信号の強度は、上記複数の逐次信号に対して決定された強 度に基づいて選択される請求項13又は14に記載の第1ステーション。 16.上記制御手段は、上記複数の逐次信号に重み付けパターンを適用するように 構成される請求項13、14又は15に記載の第1ステーション。 17.複数の逐次信号の各々に対して決定された上記パラメータを記憶するための 記憶手段が設けられる請求項13ないし16のいずれかに記載の第1ステーシ ョン。
