Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.第1の装置と第2の装置との間で双方向通信し、前記装置間で信頼性のあ る双方向通信を確実にするのに役立つ方法において、 前記第1および第2の装置の各々の通信範囲内に中継器を提供し、 前記中継器を有する第1および第2の装置から情報を受信し、かつそれぞれの 第2および第1の装置によって受信するためのそれぞれの信号の受信情報を送信 し、 前記第1の装置と第2の装置との間に情報のための直接通信経路をさらに提供 することであって、前記直接通信経路が断続的に信頼できなく、前記中継器が前 記第1の装置と第2の装置との間の通信のための付加的経路を提供すること、 前記送信するステップが、それぞれの信号の前記中継器によって送信された情 報が前記第1および第2の装置によって送信された信号と混信しないことを確実 にするのに役立つことを含むこと、 所定の距離だけ前記第1および第2の装置から前記中継器の間隔をあけること であって、前記所定の距離が、理論上の最大通信距離よりも著しく小さく、それ によって前記中継器と前記第1および第2の各々との通信信頼性を確実にするこ と、 とを含むことを特徴する方法。 2.前記第1の装置から送信された放射線の自由空間波長の1/10よりも小 さい最大の寸法を有する前記第1の装置のアンテナによって放射される信号の前 記第1の装置からの第1の情報を送信し、 前記第1および第2の装置の各々の通信範囲内で高効率アンテナを前記中継器 に提供し、 前記中継器で前記第1の装置から前記第1の情報を受信し、かつ前記第2の装 置によって受信するための情報を送信し、 前記第1の装置から送信された放射線の自由空間波長の1/10よりも小さい 最大の寸法を有するアンテナを有する第2の装置で前記第1の情報を受信するこ とをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1の方法。 3.前記第2の装置のアンテナで放射された信号の前記第2の装置から第2の 情報を送信し、 前記中継器で前記第2の装置からの第2の情報を受信し、かつ前記第1の装置 によって受信するための第2の情報を送信し、 前記第1の装置のアンテナを有する前記第1の装置で第2の情報を受信するこ とをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項2の方法。 4.さらに、複数の第2の装置があり、前記第1の装置がマスタユニットを備 え、前記複数の第2の装置がそれぞれの電気装置を制御する制御装置を備え、か つさらに、 前記マスタユニットで制御情報を生成し、前記電気装置のそれぞれの装置の状 態を確定するステップと、 前記制御装置の選択制御情報に応答し、それぞれの電気装置を前記制御情報で 向けられた状態に命令するステップと、 前記マスタユニットに送信するために前記制御装置で状態情報を生成し、 全ての電気装置の状態の組み合わせ情報を前記中継器で生成するステップと、 前記マスタユニットによって少なくとも1度受信するために前記組み合わせ情 報を送信するステップとを含むことを特徴とする請求項1あるいは2の方法。 5.さらに、複数の第2の装置があり、前記第1の装置がマスタユニットを備 え、前記複数の第2の装置がそれぞれの電気装置を制御する制御装置を備え、か つさらに、 前記マスタユニットで制御情報を生成し、前記電気装置のそれぞれの装置の状 態を確定するステップであって、前記制御情報が前記第1の装置から送信された 前記第1の情報であること、 前記制御装置の選択制御情報に応答し、それぞれの電気装置を前記制御情報で 向けられた状態に命令するステップと、 前記マスタユニットに送信するために前記制御装置で状態情報を生成するステ ップであって、前記状態情報が前記第2の装置から送信された第2の情報である こと、 全ての電気装置の状態の組み合わせ情報を前記中継器で生成するステップと、 前記マスタユニットによって少なくとも1度受信するために前記組み合わせ情 報を送信するステップとを含むことを特徴とする請求項3の方法。 6.さらに、前記第1の装置がマスタユニットを備え、前記複数の第2の装置 が、それぞれの電気装置を制御する制御装置を備え、かつさらに、 前記マスタユニットで制御情報を送信し、前記電気装置のそれぞれの装置の状 態を確定するステップと、 前記制御装置の制御情報の選択された制御情報に応答し、それぞれの電気装置 を前記制御情報で向けられた状態に命令するステップと、 前記マスタユニットによって受信するためにローカル制御装置で状態情報を生 成するステップと、 全ての電気装置の状態の組み合わせ情報を前記中継器で生成するステップと、 前記マスタユニットによって少なくとも1度受信するために前記組み合わせ情 報を送信するステップとを含むことを特徴とする請求項1の方法。 7.通信ポートを介して、セキュリティシステム、HVACシステム、コンピ ュータシステム、オーディオ/ビジュアルシステム、ケーブルシステム、電話シ ステムおよびコンピュータネットワークのいずれかと通信し、前記マスタユニッ トおよび前記制御装置のいずれかと前記通信ポートに結合された前記システムと の間で双方向通信できることをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項6の方法。 8.組み合わされた情報を生成するステップが、ビットマップの生成および各 制御装置を前記ビットマップのロケーションに割り当て、かつ各制御装置からの 状態情報を割り当てられたロケーションのビットマップに挿入することをさらに 含むことを特徴とする請求項4の方法。 9.少なくとも1つの付加中継器を備えるステップであって、各中継器が他の 中継器との干渉を避けるために受信情報を送信するためのタイムスロットを有す ること、規定されたシーケンスで前記中継器に対して送信し、前記第1および第 2の装置が前記それぞれの装置によって受信されることを目的としている情報を 受信することを確実にするのに役立つステップとをさらに含むことを特徴とする 請求項8の方法。 10.それぞれの中継器が受信した状態情報を前記ビットマップに挿入し、規 定シーケンスに従って前記中継器に割り当てられたタイムスロットで更新ビット マップ情報を送信し、それによって規定シーケンスで、それにおける全ての状態 情報を有する全ビットマップ情報が形成され、かつ前記マスタユニットに送信さ れ、前記マスタユニットによって受信されたことをさらに含むことを特徴とする 請求項9の方法。 11.第2のマスタユニットを含む少なくとも1つの付加的第1の装置を備え ることをさらに含み、かつ前記規定シーケンスの終わりに全てのマスタユニット 記中継器のコンピュータをプログラミングすることをさらに含むことを特徴とす る請求項4の方法。 20.前記中継器を主中継器および遠隔中継器の中の選択された中継器として 確定し、かつ前記主中継器として選択されるならば、各々の他の中継器のための アドレスを生成し、各々の他の中継器によって送信するためのタイムスロットを 確定することをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項9の方法。 21.前記主中継器で、アドレスを各制御装置および主制御ユニットに割り当 て、前記主制御ユニットと制御装置との間での双方向通信を容易にすることをさ らに含むことを特徴とする請求項20の方法。 22.第1の装置と第2の装置との間で情報を再送信し、前記装置間で信頼性 のある双方向通信を確実にするのに役立つ双方向通信システムで使用するための 中継器であって、 送信機/受信機であって、前記送信機/受信機が、前記第1および第2の装置 からの信号の情報を受信し、かつそれぞれの第2および第1の装置によって受信 するための信号の前記受信情報を送信すること、を備え、 かつさらに前記第1の装置と第2の装置との間の情報のための直接通信経路が 備えられ、前記直接通信経路が断続的に信頼できなく、前記中継器が前記第1の 装置と第2の装置との間に情報のための付加的経路を提供し、 前記中継器が所定の距離だけ前記第1および第2の装置から離隔されており、 前記所定の距離が、前記中継器と前記第1および第2の装置の各々との間の理論 上の最大通信距離よりも著しく小さいことを特徴とする中継器。 23.複数の第2の装置をさらに備え、前記第1の装置がマスタユニットを備 合器を備え、前記組み合わされた情報が前記マスタユニットによって少なくとも 1度受信するために送信されることを特徴とする請求項22の中継器。 24.第1の装置と第2の装置との間で情報を再送信し、前記装置間で信頼性 のある双方向通信を確実にするのに役立つ双方向通信システムで使用するための 中継器であって、 送信機/受信機であって、前記送信機/受信機が、前記第1および第2の装置 からの信号で情報を受信し、かつそれぞれの第2および第1の装置によって受信 するための信号の前記受信情報を送信すること、を備え、 前記第1の装置がマスタユニットを備え、前記複数の第2の装置がそれぞれの 電気装置を制御する制御装置を備え、 前記マスタユニットが、制御情報を送信し、前記電気装置のそれぞれの装置の 状態を確定し、ローカル制御装置が、選択された制御情報に応答し、前記制御情 報によって向けられた状態に命令するように適合され、前記ローカル制御装置が 前記マスタユニットによって受信する状態情報を生成し、 前記中継器が、全ての電気装置の状態の組み合わされた情報を生成する情報結 合器を備え、前記組み合わされた情報が前記マスタユニットによって少なくとも 1度受信するために送信されることを特徴とする中継器。 25.さらに、前記中継器が所定の距離だけ前記第1および第2の装置から離 ピュータシステム、ケーブルシステム、通信システム、電話システムおよびオー ディオ/ビジュアルシステムの1つを備えていることを請求項30の中継器。 32.前記電気装置がビルディング電気システムに結合された電灯を含むこと を特徴とする請求項23あるいは24の中継器。 33.前記送信機/受信機が無線周波数送信機/受信機を含むことを特徴とす る請求項22、23あるいは24の中継器。 34.前記中継器によって送信された信号が前記第1および第2の装置によっ て送信された信号と混信しないことを確実にする制御回路をさらに備えているこ とを特徴とする請求項22、23あるいは24の中継器。 35.前記制御回路が、割り当てられたタイムスロットで信号をそれぞれの第 1および第2の装置の各々に送信する回路を備えていることを特徴とする請求項 34の中継器。 36.隣接システムとの干渉を防止するためにディジタルハウスコードを自動 的に選択するセレクタを含むことを特徴とする請求項22、23あるいは24の 中継器。 37.アドレスを前記制御装置の各々に割り当てるアドレス割り当て器を含む ことを特徴とする請求項23あるいは24の中継器。 38.前記送信機/受信機がスーパーヘテロダイン受信機を備えていることを 特徴とする請求項22、23あるいは24の中継器。 39.各中継器が近くに設置されたシステムと干渉しないハウスコードを選択 するようにプログラム化されるコンピュータを備えていることを特徴とする請求 項22、24あるいは36の中継器。 40.各中継器が、主中継器および遠隔中継器の中の選択された中継器として 確定し、かつ前記主中継器として選択されるならば、各々の他の中継器のための アドレスを生成し、各々の他の中継器によって送信するためのタイムスロットを 確定する回路を備えていることを特徴とする請求項27の中継器。 41.前記主中継器が、アドレスを各制御装置および主制御ユニットに割り当 て、前記主制御ユニットと制御装置との間での双方向通信を容易にするアドレス 発生器を備えていることを特徴とする請求項40の中継器。
