Description

33 Method of erecting walls or lading roofing This invention relates to a method of erecting building from prefabricated structural It is an object of the invention to provide a method by means of which buildings can be erected quickly and with the employ of unskilled It is a further object of the to provide a method by means of which the between individual elements are According to the invention the new method comprises the steps of providing having a flange like ribs extending along two opposite edges positioning alternating slabs or panels with their concave sides facing opposite the rib of one slab or panel engaging the rib of a vicinal These slabs may be manufactured in a manufacturing plant of reinforced concrete or any other material ordinarily employed for making structural but the elements may also be made of metal or of metal in combination with other So for instance would be possible to make slabs or panels of aluminium and combination with plastics or foamed or even provide slabs or panels of the shape referred to above made wholly of In erecting a building of such slabs or panels these are stood on the or inserted into the ground to a certain limited degree the said ribs or flanges being in the Now the slabs are arranged with their concave sides facing one another so that the rib of one upright slab is engaged by the rib of the vicinal Like slabs may be used also for roofing or for providing intermediate floo 8 between in that latter the slabs are out with their concave side facing downwards so that the upper side is a floor of an uniform plain The invention will now be described reference to the annexed drawings wherein 1 shows a or panel of the kind used according to the and 3 illustrate the new major of the is indicated by the numeral is of a width which is approximately equal to or a of its In practice panels will be about 2 meters or so in that is to they will have when stood upright the height of a width of a panel is approximately 2 but may be as o as 6o to 80 Both longitudinal sides flanked by ribs 2 which jut out from the plane of the panel In erecting a wall out of the new panels the said are stood up vertically with their ribs 2 rising from the ground and as can be seen the panels are placed alternatingly with their concave sides facing to opposite directions in this way a flange or rib 2 of one panel can be made to engage the one of the panel whereby the connection between two panels is absolutely tight and no moisture can creep In rooms so built up the concave sides of every second panel as indicated by the letter c in 2 forms a recess which can be used for the construction of shelves or the If the panels are used for buildings the arrangement according to 3 be resorted Here the ribs 2 in the erected wall of two vicinal panels are distant from one another so that empty space 3 is created into which rein orcing steel rods may be inserted and into which concrete can be that way columns are formed which lend the necessary strength to the In the case of one storey structures the roof which is placed thereon may be of like panels which are laid out one beside the other with the concave side facing downwards so that the upper side is fully So that water can flow down from the the latter is made slightly which is achieved thereby that one wall built up of the panels is lower than its opposite which can be attained easily by setting one wall a few centimeters deeper in the insufficientOCRQuality

Claims (3)

WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:
1. Method of erecting walls or laying roofing, characterised by the steps of providing slabs having flange like ribs extending along opposite edges of the slabs, positioning alternating slabs or panels with their concave sides facing opposite directions and bringing about an inter-engagement of two panels by introducing the rib of one panel or slab into the concavity of a vicinal slab or panel.
2. The method of claim 1, characterised thereby that parallel ribs of vicinal slabs are distanced from one another creating an empty space between them, which is c t out with concrete after insertion of reinforcing steel rods.
3. Method of erecting building substantially as hereinbefore described. COHEN ZEDEK & SP!SBAC^ P. O. Box 331 16 , Tel - A v i \ Attorneys for A pp l i c ant
