Abstract
1275796 Combating pests with phosphorus compounds CIBA-GEIGY AG 21 May 1969 [28 May 1968 8 April 1969] 25854/69 Heading A5E [Also in Division C2] Soil is treated to combat insects, nematodes and termites by applying thereto a compound of the formula I: where Hal is bromine or iodine, X is oxygen or sulphur, and R 1 and R 2 are C 1-4 alkyl or chloromethyl, or where Hal is chlorine, X is oxygen or sulphur, and one of R, and R 2 is an optionally substituted C, group, and the other of R 1 and R 2 is alkyl or haloalkyl. The active compound may be applied in admixture with a suitable carrier.
