Abstract
It is disclosed herein a system destined for the production of aluminium meshes having 6-sided openings. The production process comprises a step primary material perforation device (), a device for the deployment of an intermediate perforated material () and a winding-and-unwinding machine 7 having an integral hemming device protecting the extremities of the mesh from wear and preventing the creation of fillings by shaping of the mesh extremities via an added special protective angular lamella and by overlapping of same extremities. The step perforation machine () is susceptible to receive an aluminium sheet being some tenth of m thick, which sheet is perforated in order to convert into an intermediate perforated material entering then the machine destined for the shaping of the transversally-deployed intermediate perforated material () converted into mesh (), which will be, in the sequel, propelled to the winding-and-unwinding machine giving shape to various-diameter rolls ofmesh with protected extremities. Advantages: fast, reliable and inexpensive production of aluminum nets useful mainly in the production of anti-explosive aluminium meshes placed into fuel cisterns of any size for protecting them from fillings produced by the friction or strain of extremities; mesh production from other materials (metal, plastics, paper etc).
