Abstract
962,452. Cartons. SHIRLEY & WARBEY BOX CO. Ltd. Dec. 12, 1960 [Dec. 11, 1959], No. 42257/59. Heading B8P. A carton blank, Fig. 4, has partitions 5 connected by a crease line to the bottom portion B to which the side panels 10 are connected by crease line 3, the panels 7 forming the bottom having portions connected thereto by crease lines 8a. The side panels 10 are folded about line 3 and formed to tube shape with the panels 10 outside the parts A, B, Fig. 2. The partitions 5, creased at their centre lines 6, are drawn inwards to form a double walled cruciform partition, Fig. 1, which is simultaneously rotated through 45 degrees and pushed into the carton whereby the triangular sections 7, 8 of the bottom B are folded and overlapped to form a closed bottom end. In a modification, Fig. 6, the partitions divide the carton into six compartments.
