Abstract

948,166. Filing papers. W. & J. JARVIS Ltd. Nov. 30, 1961 [Nov. 30, 1960], No. 41145/60. Headings B6A and B6E. Means for attaching sheets 7 to a backing 9 comprise a strip of material having a longitudinal bead 2 for attachment to the backing, two longitudinal flaps 3 having adhesive on their opposed surfaces for attachment to the marginal portions of the sheets, and a thin portion 4 intermediate the bead 2 and the flaps 3. The bead 2 is slidable longitudinally within channels 10 provided on the backing 9. The bead and the portion 4 may be provided at selected parts along the attachment means, Fig. 3 (not shown), and the bead may be formed of material folded round a length of string, cane, or plastics material. The sheets may be additionally secured to the strip by a wire staple, Figs. 4 and 4a (not shown), and the flaps 3 may be curved or be formed in alternative shapes.
