Abstract

947,266. Palletised containers. KAISER ALUMINUM & CHEMICAL CORPORATION. June 19, 1962 [June 23, 1961], No. 23578/62. Heading B8H. Pallet A supports bottom closure cap B which carries material-containing receptacles D. The receptacles are enclosed in a reinforcing sleeve C with moisture-proof lining 62; and the sleeve is capped by upper closure cap E. The whole are secured into a single package by straps W and by staples 30. Tapes 15 each secure together two panels of closure cap B. Operation.-The operator tears away a tape 15. This permits the weight of material in a receptacle D to cause the flaps 36 of the receptacle to open out into the discharge spout shown, through which spout the material discharges itself under its own weight.
