Abstract

922,627. Filing papers; indexing. DOCUMENTATION Ltd. Dec. 16, 1959 [Feb. 20, 1959], No. 42866/59. Classes 16 and 146 (1). A document folder comprising a sheet 1 folded about six parallel lines to form covers 11, 11<SP>1</SP>, stub portions 13, 13<SP>1</SP> and a spine 12 is provided with a transparent channel-shaped member 2 engaging over the spine with its side walls 2<SP>1</SP> positioned between the stub walls. The side walls 2<SP>1</SP> are provided with pairs of aligned depressions, apertured to receive filing posts 5. The channel-shaped member 2 is formed from synthetic plastics material and extends the whole or only part of the length of the spine. It is secured in position by adhesive or staples. A label is inserted between the spine and channel-shaped member, or between the latter and an additional shallow channel-shaped member fitted over the base 3 thereof.
