Abstract

A decorative trim strip in the form of a dado or listello for tiles or other surface coverings has a decorative part 1; 22 which is integral with or attached to an anchorage part 2, 3; adapted to be secured against a surface to fix the strip for use. The decorative part has a frontal wall 4 and usually two side walls 5, 6; 26, but possibly one, at which the part is connected to the anchorage part. There may be a single anchorage part with a base portion which lies against the securing surface or there may be two spaced anchorage parts, or an anchorage part with two spaced base portions. The attachable decorative part may clip into engagement with projections on the anchorage part or parts, or into engagement with such a projection and with the base portion, or one of the base portions. A detachable tile-lifting platform or platform 13; 39 may be provided on the or each anchorage part. <IMAGE>
