Abstract
899,905. Transistor pulse amplifying circuits. NATIONAL CASH REGISTER CO. April 19, 1961 [April 25, 1960], No. 14088/61. Class 40(6). In an electromagnetic deflection system for cathode ray tubes, the deflection coil L comprises the common collector circuit load of two transistors Tr1, Tr2 of complementary conductivity type. The deflection voltages are applied from source 1 to the base of transistor Tr1, in series with an adjustable bias B. Adjustable shift control is applied to the base of transistor Tr2 from potentiometer R3 across the collector supply source. The transistors are linearised by means of negative feedback provided by resistors R1, R2 in the respective emitter circuits.
