Abstract

The plug element (4) has multiple pins located within an insulated housing block (20) that provides a connection with individual wires (L1). The plug element locates in a socket unit (6) that has a rectangular section guide slot (52). - The plug element has tapered slots (32) formed on the sides that align with apertures in the socket. A 'U' shaped key (8) is inserted into the apertures to latch with the plug to provide secure retention.
