Class 52(2) A back- and arm-rest for use with a bed has a U-shaped base 4 having integral therewith or fixed thereto a U-shaped supporting member 5 of lever width and with arm-rests 1 and a back-rest 6. In a modification a head-rest 8 consists of a padded board mounted on a rod 9 which passes through spaced eyes 11, 12 on the back-rest and has holes 14 to'allow fixing of the rod in a selected position by means of a pin 10.
