A solder alloy has a composition, in per cent by weight within the following range: ..Ag 29-50 .Ni and/or.Mn 0.05-2 ..Al the balance The alloy is suitable for soldering parts of titanium or titanium alloy. The Provisional Specification describes also solder alloys containing Ag 1-85 the balance being Al with or without small proportions of Ni.
