818,548. Bolt-like pins; rivets. UNITEDCARR FASTENER CORPORATION. Oct. 23, 1956 [Oct. 26, 1955], No. 32334/56. Class 89(1) A bolt- or rivet-like pin 10, for assembly into aligned-openings 12, 14 in spaced panels 16, 18 to retain the panels in assembly, is made of synthetic-resin or rubber and comprises a stem 20 and a head 24, the stem having one or more projections 26, remote from the head. The pin is inserted by a blunt-rod 34 to flatten head 24 somewhat and engage the free-face of panel 16 with one of the projections 26.
