A cycle dynamo rotor comprises an anisotropic ceramic permanent magnet block 6 polarized in the direction of its two opposed faces of maximum area whereon polepieces 7 are applied, each polepiece 7 having a central flat portion 8 abutting the corresponding face of the block 6 and integral arcuate pieces 9 arranged to slip over the flanges 5 projecting from the disc 1. Specification 697,330 is referred to.
