[Also in Group XXIX] Sealing means for a spool valve 13 comprises four annular seals 16 ... 19 separated by spacers 20 ... 22 and retained in place by bushes 23, 24 at opposite ends of the body portion 10. Each seal consists of a rigid metal ring 30 with rubber rings 31, 32 bonded to its inner and outer faces.
