In an arrangement for adjusting the spacing between rollers a, b, the rollers are supported at their ends in eccentric bushes d, e and i, j respectively, and adjacent end bushes are geared together for simultaneous rotation by a hand wheel n. A shaft o carries the hand wheel n at one end and gear-wheels p, q which mesh with gear-wheels k, m integral with the bushes i, j. Gear-wheels f, g integral with the bushes d, e' mesh with the gear-wheels k, m and they all have equal numbers of teeth.
