Abstract

683.999. Trays. FERRIER. D. J. Sept. 25, 1951 [April 9. 1951], No. 22442/51. Class 128 [Also in Group VI] A plastic moulded bread &c. board which when inverted becomes a tray comprises a surface 10 for cutting and a surrounding trough 11 to catch crumbs or juice and when inverted becomes the upstanding peripheral surround. The outer ridge 13 of the surround is lower than the surface 10 so that when inverted the tray rests on 10 only and so can be picked up more easily. Grooves 14 in the surround provide good frictional grip when used as a bread board on a table or frictional thumb grip when being carried as a tray.
