Abstract
682,314. Compound sheet materials. ELECTRIC & MUSICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. July 26, 1949. [Aug. 17, 1948] No. 21663/48. Class 140. [Also in Group XXXVI] Metal foil is secured to a rigid sheet of synthetic resin by applying adhesive, preferably a synthetic resin adhesive, between the foil and the sheet and securing their surfaces together by applying heat and exerting pressure thereon in a progressive manner. The progressive pressure may be obtained by passing the adhesive-coated foil and resin sheet through heated calender rolls. Both sides of the' resin sheet may be coated simultaneously in this manner. Specification 602,492, [Group XXXVI] is referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 639,178, [Group XXXVI].
