637,968. Dry shavers. REMINGTON RAND, Inc. June 11, 1948, No. 15834. Convention date, June 26, 1947. [Class 131] A dry shaver comprises a slotted, stationary, outer cutter 2 within which a spring-urged inner cutter 3 reciprocates, grooves 8 and 18 extending longitudinally of the operative face of each cutter to guide the inner cutter with its side-walls 19 spaced from those of the outer cutter, the outer ends of the inner cutter and the ends adjacent to the groove 18 being bevelled at 21 and 22 and the slots in the cutters extending into the side walls 19 and 10. The slots in the outer and inner cutters are staggered on opposite sides of the grooves.
