Abstract

623,852. Spectacle frames. KOCHMANN, Ltd., M., and KOCHMANN, M. May 19,1947, No. 13429. [Class 97 (i)] A spectacle frame in which the lenses are pivoted so as to swing out of the line of vision when required, comprises a frame part A having bars 1 carrying nose pads 3, hinged side arms 4 and a bridge 2 to which is hinged the frame B having rims 5 carrying the lenses. The channelled hinge 8 has sufficient friction to maintain the frame B in any position of adjustment.
