Abstract

594,896. Conductors; slot conduits. KING, Ltd., G. W., and KING, D. M. Feb. 22, 1945, No. 4506. [Class 104(iii)] - [Also in Group XXXVI] Bus-bar conductors are mounted within insulators by providing the insulator with a channel having divergent walls, the busbar, of bowed section, being flattened against the base of the channel. The insulator sections 10 are moulded or extruded with ribs 11 to form channels 12 for the bus-bars 13. The insulators 10 are carried within a conduit 14 having inturned flanges 15 for the collector trolley wheels, tongues 16 being cut and pressed out to retain the insulators.
