[Class 110 (i)] The outlet edges of the impeller blades of a centrifugal compressor are inclined to the inlet edges of the diffuser blades and the latter are inclined to the axial direction. In one construction, the edges of the impeller blades are inclined, in both radial and tangential planes, to the axial direction and the edges of the diffuser blades are similarly inclined but in the opposite sense.
