582,953. Seed-sowers. PLATT, J. June 18, 1945, No. 11558/44. [ Class 6 (i)] Seed from a container 10 is sucked into peripheral recesses 36 in a drum 19 formed as a radial-cylinder piston-pump rotated from the land wheels of the machine. A cam 30 fixed on a shaft stationary in the casing controls piston movement. The seed is discharged into a shoot 37 leading to the ground. The outer rim of the drum is adjustable to bring recesses of differing size into register with the ducts 33 from the pump spaces 21.
