582,866. Door catches. ROWLEY, Ltd., W., and CLAVERLEY, A. F. Sept. 12, 1944, No. 17393. [Class 44] A pivoted catch for doors is adapted to be operated either by a single push-piece, or by either of a pair of push-pieces mounted on opposite sides of the door. The catch d is pivoted in a casing and operated by a pushpiece h which has a lateral extension i formed with a slot j in which engages a pin k on an arm of the catch d. A lever p, pivoted at q in the casing has a pin r also engaging the slot j, and can be engaged by the second pushpiece s if provided.
