572,442. Floors etc.; girders. GIBSON, G. M. June 12, 1943, No. 9497. [Class 20 (iv)] A floor or roof and ceiling construction comprises spaced flanged concrete girders of inverted T-shape carrying ceiling slabs F on which are superposed arched or canted members G upon which a concrete floor H is cast in situ. The members H, G which may be constructed of lightweight material such as porous concrete, sawdust concrete or plaster board abut against the vertical member of the girder and the girders A are reinforced as shown by lower and upper members C, D interconnected by wire fabric E. As an alternative, strips such as D may constitute both the upper and lower members of the reinforcement.
