Abstract
534,605. Tube supports. BRITISH THOMSONHOUSTON CO., Ltd. April 1, 1940, No. 5821. Convention date, March 30, 1939. [Class 64 (iii)] In a condenser intended particularly for use in a refrigerating plant, a perforated plate 17 supporting the cooling tubes 14 intermediate its ends is moved up or down by a screw 19 to force the apertures in the plate against tubes to prevent them from being rattled or vibrated by the machine driving the compressor. Apertures 54, 55, 56 are provided in the plate for the circulation of refrigerant.
