528,163. Asbestos. SOC. ANON. STABILIMENTI DI DALMINE, and PUGNALONI, U. April 28, 1939, No. 12837. 'Convention date, Nov. 25, 1938. [Class 70] Asbestos or like fibrous material is disintegrated prior to use in fibro-cement compositions by mixing with water and projecting the mixture against a surface. A mixture of asbestos and water, which may be heated, is prepared in a tank 2 and descends by gravity through a series of funnels 4-4<SP>11</SP> from the bases of which it is projected by ejectors 6-6" operated by steam or air under pressure against the walls of collecting tanks 7-7<SP>11</SP>, and finally passes to a heater 10 where it is mixed with cement.
