Abstract
519,133. Plant supports. BUT L E R, F. R. Sept. 27, 1938, Nos. 28088, and 34722. [Class 6 (ii)] Means for securing a plant 2 to a support 1 comprises a flexible band 3 of canvas or other material adapted to be fastened round the plant and the support and provided or made in one with a second band 4 adapted to extend between the plant and the support and if desired to encircle the plant or the support. The band 3 may be fastened in place by wire clips, for example, a wire loop 5 secured to the ends of the bands 3, 4 and a wire loop 6 to the other end of the band 3. The loop 5 is passed through the loop 6 and bent sharply back. Small metal plates may be clinched to the ends of the bands for securing one band to the other and for the attachment of the wire clips.
