Abstract

492,210. Boxes. EBURITE CORRUGATED CONTAINERS, Ltd., and GOLD, N. P. June 14, 1937, No. 16467. [Class 18] A box is made from two complementary blanks of cardboard &c. which are folded together to give double thickness walls on all sides. A blank B comprising a rectangular strip is folded to tubular form around a partitioning member 15 and around this structure is folded a second blank A. This latter comprises a base, sides 3, ends 5, end flaps 8 which are bent round inside the sides 3, and top closing flaps 4 whose meeting edges are sealed by a gummed strip. Preferably the sum of the lengths of the flaps 8 against one side 3 is equal to the length of that side. The top flaps 14 on the blank B may be replaced by flaps on the ends 5 of blank A.
