Abstract
488,484. Metal bottles ; closure caps. CROWN CORK & SEAL CO., Inc., CALLESON, A., and CALLESON, E. A. Jan. 6, 1937, No. 7672/38. Addition to 488,427. [Class 83 (ii)] [Also in Group XVII] An additional secondary curl 231 is concealed within the hollow bead integral with the metal bottle as described in the parent Specification, in which the bead is strengthened by the part 21 lying on the conical shoulder 6 of the mouth. The bead is shaped at 24 to form a large fiat sealing surface. The bottom of the bottle is secured to the body and may have a filling opening therein.
