436,546. Valves. MORRIS, C. V., Brookledge Cottage, Adlington, near Macclesfield, Cheshire. April 14, 1934, No. 11284. [Class 136] [See also Groups VI and X] A constant-loaded air-escape valve uninfluenced by external pressure changes employed in supplying air for breathing at high altitudes, comprises a mica or like disc m, engaging a seating i in a carrier ring j, and loaded by an aneroid capsule l. The escaping air passes over a baffle n carrying an electric heater o, which prevents freezing, and escapes through a ring of holes p which may be wholly or partly closed by an annular shutter q. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 248,356, [Class 81 (ii)].
