423,948. Flywheels. DANIELL, J. A., c/o Hardy, Spicer, & Co., Ltd., Birch Road, Witton, Birmingham. Aug. 12, 1933, No. 22551. [Class 122 (i)] A flywheel, forming the sole flywheel of an internal - combustion engine, is constructed as a tortional - vibratioi damper and comprises two plates 13, 14 se cured together and t( the engine crank-shaft and between the out turned peripheries 15 of which are mounted two heavy rings 16, 1' spring - pressed apart into frictional contact with them. Guide pins 20 are mounted in re cesses in the rings. The ring 17 has an over hanging part 23, and the plate 13 is extended at 21 and carries teeth for starting the engine.
