Abstract
421,001. Two - part couplings. BERKOVI, L., 5, Dean Street, Soho, London. Aug. 18, 1933, No. 23058. [Class 38 (i)] An earthing device for an adaptor for a lamp holder comprises a ring 1 held between the cap 3 and base 2 of the adaptor and provided with a spring-like finger 4 which engages the outside of the lamp holder when the adaptor is plugged in. The earth wire may be held between the ring and the base simply by the clamping action of the cap or it may be secured, by a screw or otherwise, directly to the ring or to a lug projecting therefrom. Alternatively, the earth wire may pass outside the cap and be engaged under the finger 4 and the ring may be provided with a clip for engaging the intermediate portion of the earth wire.
