Abstract

429,784. Distribution boards. SHEERMAN, S. E., PENDERGAST, F. R., and UNITED ELECTRICAL CO. (BIRMING- HAM), Ltd., Coolex Works, Chester Street, Birmingham. Jan. 4, 1934, No. 285. [Class 38 (v)] In a distribution fuse-board the fuse and bus-bar assembly is carried by a framework which is secured to the box by engagement of hook-shaped lugs 8 with screws in the base of the box. Strips 16 of insulation are arranged between pairs of fuses and bus-bars and a further strip is arranged in slots 12 formed on the box body so as normally to conceal the bus-bars. This strip can only be removed when all the fuses on one side have been removed. The sides of the box may be apertured to facilitate wiring of the fuses.
