Abstract
406,863. Brackets. SCAFFOLDING (GREAT BRITAIN), Ltd., and JONES, D. PALMER-, 344, South Lambeth Road, London. Feb. 18, 1933, No. 5051. [Class 52 (v).] A bracket of the type comprising a triangular frame formed of members pivoted together, one of said members acting as a strut and being formed in two pivoted parts which can be stayed in linear extension by means of a locking stay the release of which allows the bracket to collapse, has the outstanding member disposed at an acute angle to the wall member and formed of spaced parts to prevent lateral movement of the part supported. The supporting member of the bracket is formed of channel shaped metal with a lip a<3> to engage a recess in a wall and the other members of the bracket are formed as opposed link frames b, b arranged parallel with distancing sleeves c' on the connecting bolts c<1>. The lower distancing piece and bolt c<3> may be adjusted in the supporting member by means of a screw bolt a<5> and the locking stay may be slotted to engage over the locking bolt d<2>.
