Abstract

406,244. Vacuum cleaner accessories. McCARDLE, L. F., Welbeck House, Durweston Mews, London. Nov. 30, 1933, No. 33651. [Class 8 (i).] A rack to carry vacuum cleaner accessories such as nozzles, brushes and extension rods comprises a plate formed with a recess k fitting the cleaner casing, apertures b for accessories and a handle by which it can be removed and stowed away. A hinged depending plate d, e carries rods g on which the tubular extension rods may be threaded, these rods being swung round by their own weight to occupy less space when the rack is lifted from the cleaner or the motor and fan unit lifted from the dust container as shown in Fig. 2. Slots or projec. tions may be formed on the edge of the rack to carry the hose or the conducting wire.
